LinuxGenius LLC is a Stamford, Connecticut based company.

LinuxCBT | UnixCBT, the primary Computer Based Training (CBT) editions, are designed, engineered and delivered by a team of Linux | Unix | Open Source professionals.

The team has architected and deployed many Linux/Unix/Windows/Cisco systems in conjunction with industry-standard software & hardware solutions provided by vendors such as Sun, Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, MySQL, IBM, Dell, and HP.

Team LinuxCBT | UnixCBT has an average involvement with GNU/Linux, Solaris, AIX, BSD, Windows and various open source technologies of thirteen years, and has deployed numerous business-critical GNU/Linux/Unix/Windows/Cisco-based systems. Consequently, our team sufficiently understands what longevity and success in IT entails: a solid, comprehensive foundation in your desired area of study.

LinuxGenius, LLC. provides comprehensive and realistic business-critical Computer Based Training (CBT) solutions for those responsible for and/or considering the deployment of GNU/Linux-based solutions in a typical heterogeneous (Linux/Unix/Windows/Cisco/etc.) environment. Our approach is unique because it does not emphasize solely certification or canned curricula from Linux certification vendors. Instead, we have created the LinuxCBT | UnixCBT Suite of products in order to address primarily diverse business requirements, and secondarily certification objectives.

Historically, certification objectives have not been aligned with business needs. The rapid shakeout of the post-dotcom economy is evidence of that trend. However, training institutions and other CBT providers continue to promote the development of expertise that is irrelevant to today's demanding business environment, resulting in ill-prepared IT candidates.

Our approach is contrary to the industry's trend of selling certification and dreams of lucrative careers because we are cognizant of what serious IT hiring managers and their respective companies demand: knowledgeable IT personnel who have, and continue to hone their Linux/Unix/Open Source skills to become more efficient and creative engineers.

Additionally, Linux certification is made more valuable when the concepts and detailed lessons presented in the LinuxCBT Suite of products are thoroughly absorbed and understood.

For more information regarding the comprehensive LinuxCBT | UnixCBT curricula, view the products page.
