LinuxCBT RegEx Edition focuses on the implementation of Regular Expressions (RegExes) in POSIX and Perl-compatible environments. This release extends LinuxCBT Scripting Edition

Regular Expressions are critical to efficiently parsing text data (log file content, data feeds, files & directories, etc.). RegEx support is included with Linux | Unix operating systems via ubiquitous tools such as: grep, awk, sed, Perl, PHP, etc., and provides systems administrator/engineers and developers alike, the ability search, time-effectively, considerable amounts of textual data, using literals, character classes, metacharacters, metasequences, etc.

LinuxCBT RegEx Edition features the following:

• 10 hours (~1 classroom day) - Total run-time
• 1-DVD
• Grep, Awk, SED, Perl, PHP, Apache, etc. application and integration
